Some residents were shocked to learn an arson charge has been dropped against the remaining person charged in an August 2024 fire at a Chatham apartment complex that displaced dozens of tenants for months.
Leonard Greason, 49, had a look of elation on his face hearing a charge of arson with disregard for life, in connection to the Aug. 25, 2024 fire at 99 McNaughton Ave. W., was being withdrawn during a brief video appearance in a Chatham court Wednesday.
